The idea
Reconnecting with the roots of what is Mexico today
A temazcal is not a tourist attraction. It is a wellbeing practice, and what we want is to give it back the place it deserves in life today.
It is not esoteric either, and it is not a matter of faith. Heat and steam do something very concrete: they bring you back into your body, they make you breathe slowly, and they let you be grateful for what you can actually see — the earth, the water, the fire, and the people sitting beside you.
Everything else follows from that. If the earth regenerates after every cycle, so do we. Understanding the cycle you are living is the beginning of understanding yourself. You do not have to believe in anything: what the temazcal does for you, you will notice yourself.
That is why we work to spread the information and make it clear — so the temazcal is explained well, practised well, and becomes part of the social fabric again.
And above all, so that we reconnect with the ancestral roots of what is Mexico today.
Our mission
Bringing traditional medicine back into daily life
We work alongside social and educational initiatives, and we picture a society where the wisdom of the native peoples is part of the social fabric again, within reach of everyone.
We offer holistic consulting for homes, offices and spas, and for anyone who wants to develop, create and carry out holistic projects. And we create educational and training workshops for those who want to learn more about these practices and how to bring them into daily life.

Who is behind this
This project is run by Emilio and Octavio. We are real estate advisors in the Riviera Maya, and Tulum Temazcal is our social contribution: bringing ancestral wellbeing practices back into life today.
We are supported by Aho Realty Group, the agency we work from, focused on projects with soul: regenerative communities with wellbeing amenities such as the temazcal, in conscious living spaces in harmony with nature.
That is why we plant temazcales as permanent altars, and not as a seasonal attraction.
